About the Summit
Led by Mike May—Consumer Technology Hall of Famer, Paralympian, blind accessibility trailblazer, and Blind Travel Foundation Board Member—the Blind Travel Summit is designed to be interactive, collaborative, and solutions-focused. As Mike says:
“This summit is not about talking at people — it’s about bringing lived experiences to the table and co-creating better solutions with the community.”
Our Unique Presentation Format
Unlike typical conferences, each session begins with a 15-minute presentation, followed by a 30-minute facilitated discussion. This two-way format allows for genuine feedback and real connection with blind and visually impaired travelers, tech users, and accessibility advocates.
