$10,000 Travel Grant Application Questions

Below are the exact questions from the application so you can draft your answers in advance.

Character limits in Google Forms count every letter, number, space, punctuation mark, and line break.

  • 280 characters ≈ 1–2 short sentences
  • 1500 characters ≈ roughly 250–300 words

  1. In one sentence, tell us your vision for a travel-based project that will have a positive impact on the blind and visually impaired community. (Max 280 characters)

  2. Now expand on your answer. (Max 1500 characters)

    Give us a broader view of your plans and what your project would entail. You may also want to share: Is there a problem you are trying to solve? What would your project deliverables be?

  3. Why are you uniquely positioned to make your idea a reality? What relevant experience do you have? (Max 1500 characters)

  1. Please share any links that help us better understand your ideas and work. (Optional)

    Be specific about what you would like us to read, watch, and/or listen to. If sharing media, please limit it to five minutes or less.

  2. Where is your current home base? (Optional)

Tools such as Instagram Collab may be used; however, all content will originate from the Blind Travel Foundation’s channels. For Instagram specifically, your project could involve a takeover of the Foundation’s account.
